TALETE
Design by Guido Medici

Freestanding or countertop washbasin, Talete aspires to be a piece of furniture that is not bound by trends,
with a marked iconic connotation and a fresh and elegant style.
During the conception, the reference point was the CristalPlant, an ecological material with very interesting performance characteristics. The sink is composed of two types of materials. The top basin is made of CristalPlant: versatile,
resistant and as pleasant to touch as it is to the eye. The faucet and the support of the freestanding version are made of brass: antibacterial, ductile and with a pleasant shine. By type, the materials allow to give the lines a sense of lasting lightness, leaving the task of brightening up the whole piece to the colors white and gold.
The upper part of the washbasin has a circular edge at the base, designed to contain utensils and bath cosmetics. This peculiarity is found both in the freestanding and support versions.
Notice how the central body re-enters in a sinuous way, opening up at the top with a large round basin.
Inside of it, we can find a smaller one with the circular drain hole in the middle. One of the characteristics of Talete is the safety drain: a slot that runs along the edge between the two basins as a vent for the water should the main drain close.
